Was very pleased with the friendly staff and very surprised my appointment was right on time. Always pleased with dental work.
Neglected going to the dentist for a few years and was a bit timid. The entire office was wonderful. Treated me like I had been their patient for years, a very comfortable experience. Would most definitely recommend Stillwater Dental to anyone looking for a dental practice that cares.
Dr. Medina has been our family dentist for 10 yrs. During that time we moved away for about 20 months and when visiting once I had a lot of pain with a crown that had been done by another dentist. Even though I wasn’t Dr. Medina’s patient at the time, he saw me without an appointment and fixed the other dentist’s work so that I was no longer in pain.
He is a genuinely friendly and kind man, and that’s reflected in his whole office. I was so glad that we moved back to Naperville, and even though it’s a 20 min drive now to his office we continue to see him. The kids (now ages 6-16) are all smiles about seeing Dr. Medina, Dr. Mara, and the gentle hygienists. My only complaint is the radio station in the waiting room, a bit head-bangerish for me, but the volume is very low.
I am very satisfied with the dentist. He is so kind and gentle. They take me fairly promptly. The staff is excellent.
I am having a crown done but I think I am waiting way too long for the crown to be ready. Don’t ever remember waiting one month for a crown to be ready.
We have both been very satisfied w/Dr. Medina and the crew at Stillwater.Dental during the 2-1/2 years we’ve lived in this area. They’re all very competent and efficient. So we give them four stars out o five because nobody’s perfect..
I’ve been a patient there for over 3 years. The staff are friendly and accommodating. I have seen every single Dentist in the practice and have been very happy with my dental work.
That said, my recent trip was quite unpleasant. The Dr. proceeded to worry out loud about a filling he needed to replace. He said ‘uh oh,’ ‘oh boy,’ and ‘oh my’ several times out loud. When I asked him to tell me what was going on, he just said that it was a little more serious than he originally thought. He was unprofessional and a little too verbal about how poor it looked and mentioned he was not sure if he could fix it. I recall starting to shake and sweat – which, for me, is typically an indication of blacking out. If they had not already shot me up with novocaine, I would have gotten up and left before the procedure. This was such an upsetting experience.
My advice to this Dr. is to not verbalize your worries in front of a patient. Instead, calmly explain the situation, the procedure and the possible outcomes.

I always feel a little nervous going to the dentist. Dr Medina and his staff help me to relax and feel comfortable so I can get the work done that I know I have to get done. I dont take care of my teeth as good as I should, so Dr. Median and his assistants help me with good advice on what I should be doing so I’ll know. When I’m done I get to pick out a prize fron the treasure chest!
I have had very good experiences with Stillwater Dental. The office is clean and professional. I’ve found the ladies at reception to be courteous, welcoming and prompt both when I’ve visited the office as well as over the phone. The dental staff is very friendly and does a good job. Dr. Medina has made me feel comfortable both during procedures and by taking the time to listen to any questions, concerns, etc.
Dr. Medina, is a gentle and caring dentist. I have never been a fan of the dentist, but believe it not he has changed my mind. He truly cares about his patients and makes them feel very comfortable.
Dr. Medina is FABULOUS! He took time to answer all my questions and even asked his own questions to get to know me. He presented several different options for treatment and never used any type of scare tactics. My visit was painless and stress free. The rest of the staff is very friendly

Great friendly staff, I am always greeted with a friendly “hello” or “good moring”. Dr. Medina aways takes time to explain what he is doing and what to expect from the work being done that day. He always is careful to check my “comfort range” and immediately take care of things. My family and I have been seeing Dr. Medina for many years and are very happy with is work and the whole staff at Stillwater Dental Group.
I am one of those people who does not like going to the dentist. I always have anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist. However, the people at the Stillwater Dental Group are very professional, polite, and prompt. They always are wearing a smile, which I feel is especially good when it is a dentist office. The staff keeps the mood light and does a great job. I am pleased with the work that Dr. Medina and “Dr. Mara” have done on my teeth. In addition, “Dr. Mara” has worked on son. He was 4 or five at the time and he had a great visit.
Dr. Medina is WONDERFUL! Always patient, thorough and gentle. His demeanor is very comforting. My husband and I, along with our oldest daughter (16) have been going to the Stillwater Dental Group for many years, We are always pleasantly surprised by the polite, professional staff. Our Hygienist is Fabulous! I would highly recommend Stillwater Dental.
I have had a horrible track record with dentists that led to me losing a tooth and needing extensive work on my teeth because I hated going to the dentist. I am happy to say that Dr. Mara eased my fears and did a lot of work that was mostly pain free. I competeld all my work and now go to regular checkups. I felt so comfortable that I started geting my 5yro checkups there as well. The entire staff has made me feel comfortable and safe, they are all so friendly and caring. Thank you Stillwater Dental!

I moved to Naperville from further south and Dr. Medina was recommended by the only dentist I ever trusted. He told me that Dr. Medina and his staff were just like their office. I was hesitant to change dentists but it was the best thing! Dr. Medina and his staff have been nothing short of wonderful to me and my family. I am VERY pleased with all services I have had there. I have also taken my 6 year old and she loves it! I think that says ALOT!! Thanks for all you do for our family! We truly appreciate you all!!!!!!!!!!

I am a DMO patient and it is very difficult finding a GOOD dentist that takes DMO patients and when I found Stillwater I was happy but a little skeptical due to my last experience with a practice that had high praises and I who I thought was good at first and then I started having a few issues and both the staff and doctor there developed attitudes. When I finally I went to my first appointment with Dr. Medina I was very happy with the staff and the doctor himself but still a little skeptical but let me tell you, I have been nothing but VERY HAPPY with them all! The staff is very friendly and helpful, they even advised me on how to deal with the previous practice due to some issue that my insurance wasn’t going to cover since they recently did with the other and it worked! I can’t say enough about Dr. Medina, he is a very attentive and truly listens to you and advises you but never pushes anything on you. He really cares about his patients! I am so happy that I took the leap of faith and found Dr. Medina! I know this will be a long time relationship! Whenever I hear someone talking that they need to find a dentist I without hesitation recommend him!

Stillwater Dental Group is a very friendly, professional Dentist office. I have been going to Dr. Medina for almost 2 years and am very pleased with his work. My children go to Dr. Kovacevic & we are very happy with her work too. Sheri Gaffney is the best Dental Hygienist ever & the staff goes above & beyond to assist you.
My only request is to have one late night a week & one Saturday per month for patients that it is difficult to leave work during the day.
I highly recommend Stillwater Dental Group….it is pain free too : ) o.k., almost pain free.

I feel like I’m visiting with Family whenever I have a dentist appointment. I love Dr. Medina and his entire staff. Dr. Medina is an extremely caring dentist that is very passionate about his work. I have recommended this practice to all my family and friends and they have all thanked me countless times for that.
LOVE THEM!!!! I am in my 40′s, had the same dentist since I was 14, my insurance changed & I needed to find a new dentist, this COMPLETELY frightened me. I came into the office expecting to have an unpleasant experience & never want to come back – that was NOT the case AT ALL! The staff, every single one of them, is awesome. I can’t say enough how grateful I am to have found them!
I love these dentists! My daughters-they are teens who feel nothing but sincerity from these doctors. I don’t hear one complaint about anything when they come back from a check-up! Wish I had found these doctors years ago so that I wouldn’t have had to hear any complaining. I found the office clean and the staff exceptionally nice! Such a rarity in some offices! Doctors are kind and explain what they will do to treat your condition and why! I will recommend these dentists to all who ask if I know of a good dentist!
Dr Mara is a wonderful dentist. My sons, ages 4 and 8 were extremely apprehensive about seeing a dentist. Dr Mara and her assistant Carol were great with my kids. Dr Mara has 4 sons of her own. I also see Dr Mara, and she was wonderful to me as well. She is very easy to talk to, answers all your questions, explains everything and she is very knowledgeable and so nice.
The front staff are also very friendly and seem to know what they’re doing with dealing with insurance.
Stillwater Dental Group is a fantastic place! The staff there are so friendly that I forget that I’m actually at the dentist! It’s a clean and friendly environment. I want to thank Sherry Gaffney for the great job she does! Just awesome!! She’s professional, skilled, and very sincere. She always communicates the process and it’s usually pain free. I’m so glad that my family and I switched to Stillwater. It was the best move! I highly recommend Stillwater Dental Group!
